I will participate in the “Fundamentals Festival (2021-2023)” held at the University of Tokyo Komaba Museum.
From December 16th (Saturday) to the 27th (Wednesday) in 2023, I will take part in the “Fundamentals Festival (2021-2023)” held at the University of Tokyo Komaba Museum for 12 days. Please come and visit!

While many artists and scientists are participating, I will present the achievements I’ve quietly continued to collaborate on with three scientists:
Toshiaki Ichinose (Geography/Urban Environmental Studies, Principal Researcher at the National Institute for Environmental Studies)
Mutsuo Ishikawa (Medical Engineering/Human Engineering, Lecturer at Kogakukan University)
Takeshi Minato (Surface and Interface Science, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Molecular Science)
■ Overview
Project Title: “Sensory Dialogues: Creating Sites for the Co-creation of Art and Science”
Research Unit: “The Emotions of Scientists in Depicting and Analyzing Research Processes through Multimodal Collaboration”
The hobbies, quirks, and habits of these scientists, observable in the laboratories and workspaces where they spend much of their time, may reveal the physical sensations and emotions of scientists within the research process.
The videos being exhibited are recordings and footage captured by me during visits to the laboratories of Ichinose, Ishikawa, and Minato. These materials represent a precursor to artworks or research outcomes, aiming to introduce them as seeds for future developmental expansions.
